Refund policy

At Kunawiri, your satisfaction is important to us. We offer a 30-day return policy, giving you 30 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • In their original condition (unused).
  • In the original packaging, with all tags attached.
  • Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty and wellness products).
  • Sale items or gift cards.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact our support team at returns@kunawiri.co.za. All returns must be pre-approved. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, you will receive:

  • Return instructions.
  • A return shipping label (where applicable).

Please note: Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a defective, damaged or incorrect item.

Damages and Issues

We kindly ask you to inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Exchanges

The quickest way to exchange an item is to complete a return and place a new order for the replacement.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Banks and credit card providers may take additional time to process the refund.

Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Compliance

This policy complies with South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Customers are entitled to refunds, repairs, or replacements if goods are:

  • Defective,
  • Not fit for purpose, or
  • Do not match their description.

Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases

In line with South African e-commerce laws, customers have a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases. During this time, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund, provided the item is returned in its original, unused condition.
